A journey of sustainability and community

Ship sailed coffee isn't just ordinary coffee. It originates from Colombia and arrives in Amsterdam via sailing cargo ship before being roasted in our roastery. Produced in collaboration with Cooagronevada, a Colombian cooperative renowned for its dedication to organic farming, fair trade, and women's well-being, Ship sailed coffee embodies our commitment to social responsibility.

What sets Ship sailed coffee apart is its exclusive production by women and its roasting in our facility by Wioletta, our experienced coffee roaster with over 15 years at IDorganics. Through our partnership with Cooagronevada, we ensure fair prices for producers and promote gender equality. With Ship sailed Coffee, you not only support the cultivation of high-quality coffee but also champion the recognition of women.

We collaborate with Kaap Kargo from Amsterdam to sail the coffee to the Netherlands. Their sailing cargo ship, the Ide Min, originally a tugboat built in East Germany in 1957, was converted into a sailing cargo ship in Poland in 1993. In 2022, the Ide Min in Amsterdam was transformed into a sailing cargo ship capable of transporting 60 tons of cargo across the world's oceans. You can get an impression of the maiden voyage of our Sailed coffee in this video. This journey was made with the smaller sailing freighter Lun II.

At IDorganics, we take pride not only in our SUN coffees but also in the stories and values they represent. We invite you to join us on our journey toward a better coffee world.
